Welcome to episode 6 of my DJcity “Scratch Combo of the Month”.
This month we will be using 3 mostly simple techniques to create something fresh and new!
Learning the individual scratches that make up this combo first will definitely help. If you need help with that I recommend diving into my School of Scratch.

Breakdown
Part 1a
then do:
Part 1b
Repeat part 1 in full, 3 times.
To finish off the combo and add some contrast we do the part 1a once:
then:
- whip
- forward dice
- reverse dice
- at this point, instead of doing the drag and release that we did previously, we do 3 transforms.
RR (Record Release) Scratch Notation
I’m using a new form of notation. Created by myself and GoldVoltron. We are calling it RR Notation. RR stands for Record Release. It tracks the moment of the record.
A line at the end of the arrow means the fader is closed. No line at the end of the arrow means the fader is open. Still in development. Let me know if you have any questions.
