Nice chilled beat, thanks. Did you use samples only (loops) or did you also played live instruments? And if you do, what kind of preamp do you have? I make beats myself and I’m always interested in how others make their beats. I make my beats in Logic Pro with a lot of NI plugins.
Hey Marcel – I use a variety of techniques. I used samples for this one and drum breaks. I sometimes play other stuff. I don’t have a preamp. I use genelec 6010a speakers, NI Maschine and Logic Pro.
Oh, these genelec’s sound really nice. I’ve tested them but I fel in love with my Mackie’s HR824mk2, I worked with them during my SAE training coarse. I use also Logic Pro and I’m thinking of buying NI Maschine but it’s expensive.
