Counting Bars Tip

Don’t know what a bar is?

Just count 1-2-3-4, where 1= kick 2 – snare, 3 – kick, 4 – snare, 4 times in total.

An easy way to count 4 bars is to number the first kick with the number of the bar:

• Bar 1 = 1-2-3-4
• Bar 2 = 2-2-3-4
• Bar 3 = 3-2-3-4
• Bar 4= 4-2-3-4
