It’s hard to believe we’re finally closing in on the final week. Next Tuesday, May 27th, School of Scratch will finally be live with:
- 5 courses (plus 1 more in production).
- 23 lessons.
- 4 new and exclusive QnA training videos.
- More than 2 hours of high quality, clearly explained video tutorials on scratching.
Best of all, this is only just the start of the content, as I add fresh new video material every week.
Since I first experimented in 2012 with a small scale teaching platform – “The School of Scratch Inspiration Club” – I’ve been envisioning this new and improved online school, and for the past 6 months I’ve been exclusively building this platform. I phased out of all the other work I was doing in 2013 to make this a reality, and now we’re just days away.
I’m super excited and looking forward to learning alongside you!
To give you an idea of what’s to come, I’m sharing a full, complete lesson from the 4th Course – in the School of Scratch series – “Scratch Techniques”.
The Forward Scratch
This is an example of the standard of all of the video tutorials in the school:
- HD video.
- Overhead view.
- Complete technique breakdowns to make learning the scratches as simple as possible.
- QnA practice session with me at the end, so you can really lock down those skills.
- Wrap up – recap, tips and next steps.
Most importantly, the QnA sections of all the tutorials are paced at a beginner rate – I don’t suddenly start scratching at 100 miles an hour and leave you wondering what happened – so you can really get the hang of slowly practicing the scratch you are currently learning.
If you enjoyed this video, you’ll no doubt enjoy the other 20+ learning-packed School of Scratch videos. I cover everything you need to know to start scratching, even if you are a complete beginner.
