The greatest tutorial ever! We usualy focus on the tecniques and etc, but the main thing it’s just be able to FEEL THE BEAT and be able to throw accents on a different parts of the pulse, I was upset with my scratch flow, untill I watched this tutorial. The funny thing is I can feel and clap along on different spot in the subdivision, but when it comes to scratching…I don’t know, I was just obsessed with tecniques and completely forgot that I need to be able to express my self and TALK with my hands on the record. That’s a great example to break through your monotonus scratch patterns. My advice is to start scratching over a slow beat and grasp this concept fully! Then you naturally will be able to express yourself more freely! If you are not a member of supa scratch crew, I advice you to join if you want to progress as a scratch DJ!
