After the “Can I Scratch with Traktor Kontrol S4? Part 1” and “DJ Happee Interview – Scratching with Traktor Kontrol s2 / s4 – Part 2” posts, Tris and Richard dropped some more knowledge that I thought I’d share with anyone that missed out.
Although the general consensus was that most scratch DJs would be better off sticking with a traditional turntable setup with vinyl / DVS to get the most out of scratching, I thought you would still find this video of DJ Dunic cutting it up interesting and maybe help you decide if you want to give it a try.
The s2 is so small and portable which is appealing to those on the move that want to dabble with scratching. Imagine being able to put that in your backpack and scratch anywhere!
For those of you interested, you can get the Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol S2 here (affiliate link):

I don’t know about you, but I’d love to give it a go just to see what it’s like. Maybe there will be an official Studio Scratches Traktor S2 scratch test video in the future!
I hope you have enjoyed the last 3 posts in this mini series on Traktor Kontrol s2 / s4. Feel free to leave some comments below to let me know your thoughts.
Happy Scratching! 😀
